Ran a good 5.6 miles tonight.  Legs feel good. About 15 minute before I ran I ate 3/4 of a “Lemon Sublime GU Energy Gel” and hydrated.  It doesn’t taste the best, but it gave me energy in during the run.

The shoes are done.  The soles are getting hard and my feet are a little sore.  300+ miles and these go on the wall.  They are my trophies.  Going to Track Shack tomorrow to pick up a new pair.  Follow me on twitter.com/steveloper.  Now that I am back and feeling healthy next run will be seven miles.  I found a couple good article on swim training and running on race day.  (Click the links to check them out)  Pretty good articles.  See you on the road. :)
